Plant Shutdown Work

Putnam Electrical Contractors has successfully completed large scale industrial shutdowns.  Most recently Putnam Electrical was contracted to replace a full scale float at the Pilkington North America Glass Plant in Laurinburg, NC in 90 days.  The scope included replacing outdated PLC’s and motor control centers throughout the plant.  1600 elements were replaced and wired in record time.  The plant was back on the line exceeding the contract schedule.  More Details >

Bonding Completion

We understand the sense of urgency and the cost to complete projects that are in trouble due to financial or personnel issues.  Our team has the ability to staff a project within one week with high quality and knowledgeable electricians, research the status of the remaining scope of work and find the most economical means of completing the Project.  We have recently worked with Virginia Building & Structures, Inc and Travelers Insurance Company to complete the Marsh Run Power Project and the Spotsylvania County Fire and Rescue Station in Virginia and the Gibbes Middle School in Columbia, SC.
